Compiled on Montavista Platform and "Illegal instructions"

Hi,

I have compiled a "Helloworld" code with codesourcery toolchain for the 
OMAP 2420 platform (ARM11) which is running Montavista Linux. When I 
execute the code, "Illegal instructions " error message appears and it 
cannot start. Is that I have to do something with the GLIBC library?
